Lentils Burger


  • 200 gr. small lentil Voion
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped carrot
  • Vegetable broth as needed
  • 2-3 sage leaves
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp. grated parsley
  • Olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Burger buns

Sauce for burger

  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 sachet of saffron
  • salt
  • pepper


Fry the onion, carrots and lentils in a saucepan with a little olive oil. Cover with vegetable broth, add the sage and simmer for 30 minutes until the lentils are soft and melted. Allow all the broth to evaporate until you have a thick mixture. Remove from the heat, add the parsley and so much breadcrumbs until it acquires a texture that we can shape the burger. Fry in olive oil and put in the buns.

For the sauce: Melt the saffron in the yogurt and check with salt and pepper. Serve with the above burgers.
