Lentil cheese croquettes
If you want to make something healthy, a snak low calorie and gluten-free, the cheese croquettes of lentils is the best choice.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup VOION red lentils
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1 cup corn flour
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 150 gr. Vegetable (or cow's) cheese
- Salt,pepper
- 50 gr. sesame seeds for garnish
Execution method
- Soak the lentils for 2-3 hours or from the night before. We rinse them, drain them, add 1/4 cup. water, smoked paprika, salt and pepper and mix all the ingredients together
- Pour them into a larger bowl and add the cornmeal, starch and knead it. Add additional flour if needed.
- Then shape the dough into small balls, put a piece of cheese in each, shape again so that the cheese is covered in the center and garnish with sesame.
- Bake in the oven at 170 °C for 15-20 minutes or in the air fryer.
